• Here’s my video of some of the projects and activities I’ve been able to do this year with my 4th and 5th graders thanks to the technology available through ARI 🙂

    • Hi Megan,

I’ve tried several times to open the video link you attached and would love to see your 4th and 5th graders but it keeps on telling me that the link is “private” – – I’m probably doing something wrong….

      • I get the same message.

      • I think I accidentally made it private where only Jeff Coots could watch it, haha! I changed it to public though, so try again and if it still doesn’t work, could you let me know! Thanks!

    • Hi Megan,

I’ve tried several times to open the video link you inserted but haven’t been able to yet. It keeps telling me that the site is “private”. I’m probably doing something wrong but would love to see the Video of your kids!

    • Megan,

It worked! Terrific video that demonstrates the energy and interest of students! Thank you so much.

      Jeff

    • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • Something to think about… How can we make Eastern Kentucky a hot-bed for technology jobs in the future? What can we do to prepare our students for a world that is driven by technology? Thought?!? Love to have some great conversation!!!

  • How can technology help make long-term absences easier to deal with? I know this is one of the topics that is currently being brought up during our ARI Staff meetings and now the discusses we have been having has made it to eSchool News. Read the Article and tell me what you think?

    • I love the idea. It would be so cool to have several of these robots going from class to class.

  • Students at North Magoffin Biography Buddies.
Students completed Biography reports using the Big 6 model. They selected their own person to do the project about. They used QR codes, chatterpix app and thirty-hands to integrate technology.

    • This is exciting Liz. What are you discovering as you proceed through the project? Student engagement and motivation?

      • The students love it. They love the tech part. I have found time restraints a little difficult. I am the Library Media Specialist at the school and I only have classes for 30 min. Students also liked that they could choose who they wanted to do the report about.

    • This is great to see students integrating technology into their projects. Chatterpix is really cool. Did the students enjoy using this app?
