Fifth grade students have completed a series of hands on lessons involving Pro Bots. Our fifth graders have been fortunate to have Dr. Katrina Slone come and help them get acclimated to programming activities. Using our bots, students have been introduced to a variety of geometrical concepts including angles, polygons, coordinate grids, mapping, and have even incorporated metric conversions using centimeters and meters. It has been inspiring to watch students solve problems while incorporating mathematical concepts. Pro Bots have offered students a hands-on experience with programming as well as robotic controls.
