Students have begun creating a virtual reality game in our Computer Science class. We are currently using Unity and will hopefully have a finished project sometime in April. We are currently planning on implementing it onto Oculus Rift to see how it works in virtual reality.

I feel that every day we are finding new ways to use the Kindles in the classroom, and they are proving to be more useful than we originally ever could have dreamed. We have used our tablets to demonstrate learning. Using the app Flipgrid we were able to create videos where we talk about what we learned, used it to perfect speaking in public, read books to ourselves, and more. I purchased a Qball with grant funds but to this date have not been able to use it successfully. The initial Qball unit was defective and I had to wait for a new set to arrive. Once it arrived I have not been able to get it to syn with my speakers. It is an ongoing mission and students are excited to work with it if we can ever get it to work.…Read More
