First Grade students learned about biomimicry. After viewing life cycles of butterflies, frogs, and ant habitats as well as reading several books about animal characteristics, students decorated a mystery box. Students received a wooden box. Sounds interesting. I think it helps our students to continue to value our land and our connection to the land. Gardening is also just so rewarding and peaceful.
