Mini-Grant 1: Choose your Chair (Flexible Seating in the Classroom)

In order for students to learn to solve problems, make their own choices, and use movement to stay on task, students need an option for a flexible seating classroom. This project will aid in helping to turn a universal room into a 21st century classroom for all students to grow. With Jones Fork Elementary gaining flexible seating, it also gains opportunity; the opportunity for teachers to see how 21st century classrooms can change the way we teach and the way students learn.
