Christmas Past: Christmas Eves have always been spent at my grandparents home. My cousins and I have always been close and our love and bond is more like brothers and sisters. For years we have been told to stand nice and straight for a photo by the tree, instead this happened and it is the most cherished photo by our grandparents.

Christmas Present: I have spent the past 4 Christmases as a student at Letcher County Central High School. The school has brought me much stress, but also an opportunity to achieve and become a better educated citizen of the United States of America. I will forever hold these memories as some of the closest that I have ever had.

Christmas present: We have a new baby in the family. Right now he is what we have in this moment and what we can hold on to. I can’t wait to see him grow and learn all the family traditions. He has really brought the family closer.
