    Can I Ask You a Question?
    Project Summary

    Kindergarteners do not know how to ask questions about their own learning which leads to lower levels of learning. Students’ cognitive, social, and emotional growth was found to be weakened when questions were not asked (Becker, 2000). Question Formation Technique will be used to increase student’s ability to ask questions about their own learning. Trade books from each domain will be used to begin the QFT process along with various types of handwriting papers, sentence strips, dry erase boards and anything else to immerse students in writing questions. The teacher made assessment and rubric should show that my class is able to generate more questions than another k class that has not been exposed to the QFT process.
