• Christmas past: This picture shows how my family has been opening presents since before I was born. We always let the little kids open their presents before everyone else. They always have the smallest attention span, but that’s just how we get them to calm down long enough to open all presents.

  • Christmas past: Ever since I can remember, my family has hung this “countdown to Christmas ” christmas tree. While I was growing up, me and my sisters would take turns moving the little santa to the day that it was. It’s not Christmas without it!

  • Christmas Past: My family and I used to spend our winter days playing in the snow. We would put layers and layers of clothes on to stay warm, hence the snow suits, but would always end up freezing. We would go sledding, have snowball fights, and make snowmen. When I think of Christmas past, I think of all the fun times I had outside in the snow.

  • Christmas Past: I remember, however vague, the look of the old courthouse. I watched many a parade, on looking as the floats went by. These were the better of my many childhood memories.

  • Christmas future: I love being home for Christmas and I love when it snows on Christmas, but I have this daydream of spending Christmas by the ocean one year. I love the idea of having a cottage with a fireplace while the waves hit outside and a Christmas tree in the window. So I hope to spend a Christmas at the ocean in my future.
