KVEC’s Reading Recovery team hosted their 2022 graduation on May 13th. This graduation saw the end of these teachers’ Reading Recovery training.
7 of the 12 graduates completed the Comprehensive Intervention Model Training which is the group model of Reading Recovery.
This year’s Reading Recovery class met each week in a year-long Professional Development Model. They met each new challenge with integrity and determination. Each week, they learned new strategies to use with their own students. Many of these strategies were modeled by their own colleagues in Behind the Glass/Video lessons. The one thing they have in common is a love for their students and I was so blessed to get to know them this year!
