It’s not too late to register for an event sponsored by Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Appalachia that will focus on principal leadership for effective data use, with a focus on PGES data. REL Appalachia is bringing in Dr. Jeffrey Wayman, who developed a set of 12 research-based practices for principal leadership around data use while teaching principal leadership courses at the University of Texas at Austin. The workshop is the first in a series of three. This first session will give an overview of the 12 practices, and then provide small group activities focused on communicating with data, teacher conferencing with PGES data, and distributed leadership under PGES. The workshop is tomorrow, Dec. 9, in Louisville. We hope to offer future workshops in more regionally accessible ways, but please consider attending this first workshop to get the full benefits. The link to the event is provided below.
