5th grade students at Southside Elementary School in Belfry, KY presented their prototypes at their Inventions Expo today! Students surveyed the community, created and tested prototypes that would assist people with disabilities. We had 3 panel judges that interviewed students and many visitors in our community. Students utilized legos, robotic equipment, a 3D printer and other materials to create the prototype. The students also created a commercial to sell their prototypes. Special thanks to all the 5th graders at Southside and our 5th grade teachers! Awesome job today!
