STARS Come Out to Play! HWMS Community Problem Solving Team identified drug use by young students as a problem in our community. They felt that one of the underlying reasons for this problem is the lack of recreational activities for young people in our county. The team worked in conjunction with the elementary sixth grade Community Problem Solving teams to help alleviate this problem. Throughout the year, they sponsored several activities for the students, including fun and games night, a dance, etc. The students also prepared skits and disclosed information about the dangers of using drugs.
