The Challenger Learning Center of Kentucky is hosting an “Engineering Learning Festival” on Friday, June 12 & Saturday, June 13 where seven students from MIT and Harvard will be teaching middle and high school students about engineering. This is part of a cross-country bike trip called Spokes America that the seven students are doing this summer to make hands-on STEM learning accessible to everyone. They will be teaching 3 workshops–all free to attend–in which students will build a robot, program a computer, and launch a model rocket on their own. The Festival is being held at Challenger Learning Center, 1 Community College Drive Hazard.
