I would say the use of technology needs to be limited like television, video games, reading, etc. Too much of something will eventually take its toll. The part of the article that stood out the most to me was where it said that younger siblings have strain on their eyes because of too much technology use. As a previous kindergarten teacher for 8 years, skills like coloring, writing, cutting are essential to the development of children. We have muscles in our hands and when we’re little, those muscles have to be strengthened. With coloring, writing, and cutting, the muscles in a child’s hand become stronger and they develop more coordination. I would like to see more children coloring and writing while waiting in the Dr.’s office, in church, in the car than playing on an electronic device. I love technology, but I think it should be used in moderation.
