Hello, my name is Crystal Smallwood. I have been an educator for 31 years but this is my first year to serve as a Student Senate Majority Leader. I work at the Jenkins Middle High School and I am very excited to be working with a wonderful Student Senate Council. Our council is meeting regularly with our Jenkins Independent Superintendent to discuss student concerns and ways to improve our school culture. Our students are also hard at work, meeting with the local Kiwanis Club and also with the Chamber of Commerce to seek additional ideas to improve not only our school but our community.
