Around the holidays, like Thanksgiving & Christmas, I believe these celebrations are cultural because in my family we always put up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. We always celebrate both holidays. We have a lot more food at Thanksgiving than Christmas. A very cultural tradition in our family is around Christmas, we bake cookies that have cherries in the middle. We also let the children open their gifts first.
