I tried to post the following update to this holler about a month ago, but I think I created it as a personal update instead.
Here are some pictures from Hazard High School’s Bulldog Garden – a Community Problem Solving (CmPS) project funded with a STARS grant. Many members of our school and local community do not have regular access to fresh, nutritious food. We are working to address this problem by donating the produce we harvest to those in need. We have made four donations (of squash, kale, Swiss chard, spinach, turnips, and carrots) to our local homeless shelter so far this year and we plan to harvest and donate lettuce later this month.
