I know I’m late on posting but this Halloween activity could also be used for thanksgiving or Christmas as well. We had a mini lesson on 2D shapes discussing the attributes and characteristics and they had to use that information to create a geometric Halloween figure. It really opened my eyes at how many misconceptions they had and how this lesson helped them see how shapes work together based on attributes to create a complete image.
