I implemented the flexible/alternative seating. It is so amazing! Students’ time on task has improved tremendously and their attentiveness to instruction has improved as well. Behavior issues have all but disappeared. Students love to share the space as well as taking turns in the various stations in the room. Rotation schedules allow students fair time in all parts of the room, and they are eager to take care of the seating/materials because they all enjoy them equally. Computation ability and math reasoning skills have skyrocketed as students are comfortable in their setting, so they are more comfortable with math.

I conducted a student survey to choose what they like best and they wrote a response in regard to their choice.
