We are getting ready to begin our unit of study using our materials from the grant. It is late in happening this year, due to all the days of school missed due to snow, ice, flooding, flu, etc. However, the day is coming quickly (thank goodness) that we will begin…dissecting! This is one of the best things that I have been able to offer my students. With the money received from the grant, I purchased fetal pigs to disect in my 7th grade classes. In the past couple of years, I have been afforded the opportunity to present this amazing learning opportunity to my students only because of the grant monies. I am so appreciative of the support from those at KVEC that have had this opportunity available to teachers. I cannot wait to get my kids started on the most fabulous event of the school year!!!
