I wanted to share a site that was shared with me concerning Kentucky’s academic standards. As many of you may already be aware, there is a site available to explore the newly adopted Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) and standards resources. If you look on the “Explore your Standards” page, you will find a downloadable PDF and a critical fact sheet for the KAS for Reading and Writing, KAS for Mathematics and KAS for Computer Science. There are also module resources for getting to know the KAS for Reading and Writing and KAS for Mathematics are accessible on the “Your Standards Resources” page. Additional resources for Social Studies and Health/PE will be added as they become available. If you want to receive updates you can subscribe to KY Standards by clicking on the plus symbol (or box) inside of the circle found near the top left corner of the site’s main page.
