Here are some good resources for PBL. The design challenges can stand alone as just quick design activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, perseverance and more. I was in a school this morning where they are considering weekly design challenges school-wide. Also though, they can lead to great project ideas. One of the challenges listed on the document as a 3rd grade challenge actually turned into a very cool, in-depth project idea for a first grade team.
