As we checked on the garden beds today, we saw first hand the importance of placing a Fall/Winter garden in a sunny location. The “Cole Slaw” garden is on our playground in a shady place. Today our School Garden came full circle as the students at Pikeville Elementary School were able to enjoy an additional option of salad with greens, turnips, radishes, and broccoli grown by fellow students.
