Looking forward to another Great Year using the grant money from ARI. My project has been one of the best things that I have/do in my teaching career. We dissect pigs! My students love the hands on experience and learning about the science behind the dissection. They are able to relate the structures and their functions to their own bodies and better understand their own bodies as a fully functioning system composed of many subsystems. I cannot wait to begin another time to see and enjoy the experience of learning from my students. ARI/Fire Summit…there are not enough thanks for the opportunities and experiences through this grant. It is a most valuable way to educate and spend dollars on our future as people of Eastern Kentucky!
