  • I don’t know what I’d do without podcasts. My brain would be less productive and my car rides would be incredibly boring. @danpricewhite I know you agree. Have you seen this video?

    • Love having videos like this when people question why I only listen to podcast while driving, I don’t even know what music is anymore. Not to mention when folding laundry, cooking, cleaning and even gaming. And much of my enjoyment has been enhanced with the ease of access utilizing the podcast app on my phone. I’ve found about 10 gaming casts…Read More

    • “What if Kentucky was the hot-bed for computer programming?”

So… how do we get this snowball rolling down the hill? — What can the ARI team do to help? — @professorparsons I think this is exactly the direction we need to go. I love the conversation…

      • Thanks @pgreen. We’re going to walk with Rural UP, as well as design some courses for the Holler, about a summer program and some programming bootcamps that use the Holler to sustain long term collaboration and learning.

    • I teach computer science and my students have just started learning html.

      • @joyneace That’s great! What types of projects will they build? We could feature some of their work on the Holler, or throw out some coding challenges once they are far enough along.

        • They will be building a website that will require the use of databases. They will get to be creative about content. These students already know some Python and have created games in Snap!

  • Learn to Code! If you know of any middle and high school students in the Pikeville area who would like to participate, they can contact these folks.
