JCS Student Senate Members (Noah C. and Shey T.) and Superintendent Student Advisory Council (Students from grades 7-12) attend 1st Meeting. Student Senate members will be working with the Superintendent Lively to create upcoming agendas that are student focused. Some of the Highlights from the meeting were: Online Learning, Attendance, AP courses, 1 to 1 implementation, Standards based Grading, CCR classes, how to make textbooks more modern, and how to make homework more meaningful. In addition, Shey T was elected the secretary and students setup meeting times for this year. Mr. Lively was very impressed with the students and stressed to them that they take the role very seriously and make sure to represent all students.
