Opportunities with Ozobots: Coding with Colors
I initially had plans to only use the Ozobots with students in grades 3-6th, however my younger students were very interested in them so we gave it a try! Ozobots are great for all ages from Kindergarten all the way up to 6th grade. I have designed my STEAM lab into stations which allows me to work with a small group to teach coding skills. Younger students require more assistance so we have been focusing on only coding with the colors and the pre-made designs that came with them. The older students are able to create their own drawings and add their color coding to the artwork they made. My older students have had more exposure to coding. We are beginning to code using the app, OzoBlockly.
