We enjoyed a nice winter day outside with our PBS playtime tablets! We worked on the PBS app Outdoor Family Fun With Plum and observed at different insects outside with magnifying glasses! My students loved getting to work on the app and explore and then exploring their surroundings outside!!

So far, so good. After purchasing the items to complete my two grants I have seen that my new students are really drawn in by student choice in lab. I have had some difficulty getting them to “think inventively” early on, but am seeing that transition now.

My other grant was for 6 dash and dot robots. My students were so excited for their first explore day with the robots and coding. Students worked with two different apps in which they had to construct different codes in order to make their robots move.
