what an amazing change in literacy practice. Using the coding for literacy tablets was an awesome and worth while investment. The children are engaged and learning has accelerated!!!!

The Echo Dots have been distributed to all of the classrooms now. The newness has worn off and they are now asking more serious questions instead of just wanting to ask Alexa to play their favorite song. Children have been using their new tablets to code and make stories on PBS scratch Jr. They have learned about plot,setting and characters. We are still looking for an awesome coding app that is age appropriate that focuses on letter identification and phonics.
