I just wanted to share some information about our Operation Preparation event at Johnson Central High School today. This was a perfect use of virtual technology as Associate Commissioner David Couch from the Kentucky Department of Education joined our session via Lync through our MondoPad to talk to 8th and 10th graders about careers in information technology and how to best prepare for interviewing. Even though there were over 300 people in the gym, our students could clearly hear him, and he could hear their questions. He stayed online non-stop from 8:45 a.m. until 11:25 a.m. talking to four different groups. This was an outstanding use of technology and the MondoPad.
