I am excited about being awarded three grants this year. I am beyond blessed to be able to give my students “school based learning tools” they can use at home. The Traveling Student Totes will allow my students have the tools we use at school. They are very tacticle learners and need some type of concrete learning tool to foster their knowledge. The addition of the educational games and file folder games will allow for differentiated instructional in all areas of reading, math and writing skills. The ‘tools’ will be used to foster motor skills, social emotional skills as well as academic skills during this new way of learning. As stated before, the world may have came to a halt but learning and teaching have not.
