The Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative in collaboration with the Kentucky Department of Education was pleased to offer an Assessment and Accountability Summit on Wednesday, September 27th in Hazard. Rhonda Sims, Jennifer Stafford, Karen Kidwell and the KDE staff shared the most up to date revisions to our state’s assessments and accountability. Topics included a deep dive into the components of the new accountability model, field test development, standards revision, science summative assessment, planning for 17-18 science TCTs, transition readiness/CTE, alternate assessment and employability skills attainment.
