Our district has had discussion around the Kentucky’s Uniform Academic Course Codes and this is probably our biggest concern about the new accountability system. We are a small rural district with bare bones staff. Every year, our district faces a reduction in funding so the challenge to provide students opportunity and access to all of these courses is a daunting task. This area alone may keep a district like ours from reaching the full star rating.
