Just wanted to take a quick moment to thank everyone (Teachers, Students, Principals, and administrators) in the KVEC region for doing such a great job this year. I was so impressed with all the presentations going on yesterday and I hope to see even more great things next year. Thanks again, have a wonderful rest of the year.

Students in Mr. Thompsons class are using digital tools to created videos. Today, I meet with the students on what they could do to improve their products. Items like adding sound and graphics where so of the things that we discussed. I’m very proud of our students they are doing a wonderful job creating these resources.

What does the day look like for chicken farmers, well at JCS students are getting to learn just what it’s like. The Letcher Co. Central Student Senate as well as the faculty and staff are anxiously awaiting the delivery of our outdoor classroom building materials on Friday. Construction will begin on Saturday. We will post updates and pictures as soon as it is completed.
