With my grant, I received one Android convertible tablet, 2 Kindles and 2 iPads. We will be using these devices to increase sight word recognition using multiple sight word apps.

My speech students have loved using our pretend play toys. They are great for working towards so many goals. My kids often think they’re getting reward time, but are still working on social and/or language goals while we play!

Bringing programming to Life with Lego WeDo has been a wonderful addition to my classroom. I was able to purchase 5 sets and allowed students to work in groups to create and code with the legos. Lego WeDo Robotics! I can’t say enough about how this has been such a game changer in my classroom. Students are strengthening their communication skills and learning to work as part of a team. We look forward to learning to do even more with our tools.

I am currently looking at my teacher evaluations I have received over the past few years. I always scored low in technology. However, my last two evaluations have scored higher in technology since I received my Boogie Boards. Not only are the students 100% engaged when we use them, my teacher evaluations are better! Thanks ARI
