• I have a question about growth and the future growth projection. How is that determined/ calculated? I also thought I heard someone say that it is not a prediction…how is it not a prediction?

    • The new growth calculation omits the projection component and looks only at growth from one year to the next using NAPD categories. Points will be awarded as displayed in the attached table. This means there is no black box calculation as before which awarded points based on a student’s expected performance.

    • Zip Grade is a quick and efficient way to grade lots of papers and allows students to start bubbling in answers on answer sheets (which is a skill in itself). And you get so many scans free. 🙂
