I implemented the flexible/alternative seating. It is so amazing! Students’ time on task has improved tremendously and their attentiveness to instruction has improved as well. I implemented ZooPhonics in the resource room with kindergarten and first grade students with disabilities. The phonics program uses animals to help children remember the shapes and sounds of the letters, in addition to body movements for each animal letter. I implemented the program in the resource room using Direct Instruction, songs, and games.…Read More

Kenneth Combs classes, integrated with Agriculture classes to complete the landscaping area for the Gallapalooza Project. The area is being poured with concrete and stamped to create the design. Mr. Combs integrated many math concepts into this project, along with tools, safety, and work place skills.
