Yes, the students used the sewing machines. They learned how to use them, a rotary cutter, and a cutting mat with last years ARI grant.

The sophomores at Breathitt High School made a connection with their Math skills and how to make memories of a lifetime. They made 20 pillows for their new found friends from Branson Headstart. -

An exciting adventure has begun for the 10th graders from Breathitt High School. They presented 20 Headstart students with a pillow of their own, which they helped create using their Math Skills. -

The students involved with my grant “Making Pillowcases for the Nim Henson Nursing Home patients” was really excited to continued their community service while improving their Math skills. These students have been using their measurement skills in order to cut out the patterns for 50 pillowcases. -
