Giving comfort to those who are experiencing severe health issues is something that my class is working on this year. While we are working on the Fleece lap quilts for the Hospice patients, we are hoping to improve our Math skills, especially in the area of measurements and long division. My students are improving with each lesson and are excited to begin the creation of the quilts themselves.
After experiencing COVID myself, I know that we must take all precautions while completing these projects and letting others know that we care.
