When building a Makerspace, the physical features of the space are not the only matters at hand. We must “build” the “maker” as well. We must instill a growth mindset, teach accountable talk, motivate selfless leadership, and provide a purpose for creating! In essence, we must make the maker AND the space!!

Kindle use in class
The kindles are getting a lot of use! I have two small classes in which I can have every student use the kindles at once. For my other classes, students take turns using the kindles, they work in groups, or they use a variety of devices.
