Belfry High School Library Student Council and Belfry Public Library collaborated to assist elementary school students with reading and technology. Student’s read, created, and connected with other countries on the history and celebrations of various holidays including Halloween , Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Students learned to navigate an IPad, how to download new and innovative programs, and to create an Aurasma. The Library Council students were very excited for the opportunity to work with elementary students and to validate their inspirations for becoming future educators . I am thankful for the Promising Practices and the ARI Grant for allowing me and my students the opportunity to embark upon some creative thinking and learning ventures. Thank you again !
