Christmas Past: every year my family hangs up this old ornament of an elf and we jokingly call it Cammy. Cammy is a cousin who we teased about her ears when we were kids and then named the elf after her. Every year we share this joke and now send her a picture on text messaging to let her know we are thinking of her. It sounds a little mean, but it’s actually more sentimental.
