The Echo Dots have been distributed to all of the classrooms now. The newness has worn off and they are now asking more serious questions instead of just wanting to ask Alexa to play their favorite song. They still will look at me before they ask something new, because they are still unsure of if they are allowed to use Alexa to help them. It is like they are afraid to use resources available to them, because it is like cheating, when it is actually the same as the calculator on their desks. I’m hoping they soon overcome that fear and begin using Alexa to the fullest potential.
