With the addition of two more EV3 lego robots we are able to expose more students to building and coding the robots. The students are currently building and began to start coding robots for the STLP Sumobot competition. We will hold our own school tournament to see which robot will represent us at the state competition. This will be part of our larger STEAM initiative and will happen at Pikeville’s STEAM night. Everyone is invited to join us April 15th at Pikeville Elementary to see our Sumobot competition but also to see all the other awesome STEAM initiatives happening in our district. Most of these are direct results of a culmination of ARI grants not just this year but over the last four years. We are so thankful for these grants and what they are able to do for our students.
