I’ve save videos, pictures, and an mp3 file that I want to upload. It’s showing none of them.

You can always email to me and I will get them posted. If I can’t I have access to the Holler Team and they can help!

Try saving them to your desktop so they are easier to find. When you click the button to upload, make sure your file type is changed to all files and not just custom files.

Love the idea of a news broadcast. Are the students being involved in creating the broadcast or is there a team that is working on this?

It is part of our enrichment program. Students write, produce, and direct the videos.

I knew growth of students who are meeting the expectations depended on a type of formula. I had never seen the chart or heard the full explanation. This is great information! Thank you!

Scoring distinguished year 1 to distinguished year 2 still shows growth. However what if the actual score of the individual child decreases but it is still under the range of distinguished, is that still growth?

A great assessment strategy I use is to follow up any summative with student analysis so they will take ownership of their performance. Formative assessments are used throughout lessons to guide instruction.

I love this strategy. I’ve recently started with data notebooks for our weekly target checks in grammar. Students have to keep up with their original scores and the retakes and analyze their progress in each skill. I’m hoping to be able to incorporate this with on-demand writing as well.
