5th grade students at Southside Elementary School in Belfry, KY presented their prototypes at their Inventions Expo today! Southside is a school that is moving very quickly toward personalized learning. Having such a enthusiastic principal certainly provides this wonderful staff with support and encouragement. Southside Elementary is a school to watch for innovation in teaching.

This week the students are still harvesting greens for school salad despite the fact that many of the plants are bolting and reaching maturity.
