I greatly enjoyed the presentations by Randy Scherer from High Tech High. I have a much better understanding of what it means to prepare project based learning as opposed to project oriented learning. His presentations made the concept “click” for me and I’m very excited about going back to my classroom and doing project based learning activities with my students. One of the best professional development meetings EVER!

AWESOME. I’m so glad you liked it, Jason! I believe PBL can be a real game changer for kids. I think it is the way to go. Please keep us posted on how it goes and let us know if we can help in some way!

I am so glad to hear you say that. This was a take away for me too. I think I was a very good teachers but with our current learning I know I would be a much better teacher today. I would like to visit your classroom as you get into project based learning. Invite me out sometime.
