Teachers at Sebastian Middle School stayed after school today to learn about Design Thinking. Teachers actually completed a Design Thinking Project called The Five Chairs.

Today Mrs. Henson’s 6th grade Lamp class took a virtual field trip to a copper mine. Students submitted questions and answered questions that the presenters asked. Jackson City School is proud to present a sneak peek of our Kindergarten Promising Practices. On November 7, students in Mrs. Hollan’s kindergarten class conducted “University of Kentucky” presentations. As these presentations were going on, young videographers captured the moment.

Oh my, what a great activity. The next time I am in Jackson I plan to stop by the Kindergarten class to help me with presentation tips. Wonderful!
