    • You have hit upon what seems to be the greatest concern with Opportunity and Access, which is resources and the variation between schools. The rich curriculum piece is asking for what is circled in the attached graphic at elementary and the course codes are to come from the listing.

  • A great assessment strategy I use is to follow up any summative with student analysis so they will take ownership of their performance. Formative assessments are used throughout lessons to guide instruction.

    • I love this strategy. I’ve recently started with data notebooks for our weekly target checks in grammar. Students have to keep up with their original scores and the retakes and analyze their progress in each skill. I’m hoping to be able to incorporate this with on-demand writing as well.
