We have made close to $500 so far with our student business, which we are using to restock our coffee cart. The students are learning how to count and handle money and inventory.

Our coffee cart is going great! My students with disabilities love taking orders and helping to fill them and deliver coffee. It has helped them get to know all the faculty and staff and socialize more within the school. Coffee Fridays were so popular, we are now also serving coffee on Tuesdays.

My grant was for iPads for my special needs classrooms. Having the iPads allowed my students to hone many academic skills through the use of apps such as iXL and Teach Your Monster to Read.
